Newington 3, Plainville 0: Megan Willgoos had 10 kills and Sarah Ericson six as the Indians swept the Blue Devils in three tight games. Newington, which got 18 assists from Carly Wanner-Hyde and 11 digs by Kaitlyn Bernacki, won 25-20, 27-25, and 25-20 to move to 2-0 for the year. Aminah Tsonga led Plainville (1-1) with seven kills and Jess Gorski had 10 assists
